Discussed the additional training required.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on May 13, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-F Description: Based on record review, all staff who work directly with children did not complete First Aid Training. Evidence: 1. Staff #5 began with the center on 8/21/2017 and did not have documentation of being current in First Aid Training. 2. Staff #6 began with the center on 08/02/2008 and did not have documentation of being current in First Aid Training. Plan of Correction: We will have the 2 staff members sign up for the training this month.
