An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:40 and ending at 8:55 AM. There were forty-nine children in the care of five staff members. The children's ages ranged between five through eleven years old. The children were observed cleaning up and preparing to transition to the cafeteria for breakfast. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissant or cold cereal and nurti-grain bar, sweet potato fries, and orange juice. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Six medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as 5/2/19. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 4/8/19. The most recent fire inspection was dated 8/2/17. The health inspection was dated 5/7/2019.
