A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/13/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 33 children present with 5 staff. Children were observed having breakfast (cereal, mandarin oranges, and milk), painting, cutting with scissors, playing with blocks, reading a book, and making shapes with string. Reviewed 6 staff files, 5 children's files, fire and health certificate, first aid kit, attendance, fire and health inspections, and physical plant. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
