Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:40am-12:30pm. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, participating in a farewell celebration for a classroom teacher, making crafts and, playing outside. Smooth and orderly transitions were observed between the indoor space and the adjoining playground to include a teacher implemented routine to ensure safe crossing of the crosswalk to reach the playground. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description: Based on observation, not all hazardous materials were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: In a Little Lee classroom an unlocked cabinet was observed to contain: bleach spray, rubbing alcohol, sanitizing wipes, aerosol air freshener, and window cleaner.

Description: Based on observation, Disposable diapers are disposed in a leakproof or plastic-lined storage system that is either foot operated or used in such a way that neither the staff member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage system during disposal. Evidence: The diaper disposal can in the "Little Lee" building has a hinged swing top which does not allow for diaper disposal in a manner that neither the staff member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.
