A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 7:47am to 8:40am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 33 children under the supervision of 5 staff. Children were observed participating in group and individual activities, socializing, practicing shooting hoops, washing hands for breakfast, eating breakfast, cleaning up breakfast and being dismissed for school. There were medications on site today. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials that were developmentally appropriate for the children in care. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
