An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 8:00 a.m. There were 39 children in care ranging in age from 5 years to 11 years of age in the care and supervision of 3 staff. Children were engaged in quiet activities at the beginning of the inspection that included card games, drawing and manipulatives. Children then lined up for a group activity in the cafeteria for a word search challenge. After the group activity, children returned to the gym and played a group game. Five children's records and four staff records were reviewed. Four medications and authorizations were reviewed. Emergency drills were posted and up to date.
