A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/20/2019 from 9:08am to 1:35pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed playing in centers and playing on the playground. A formal observation was completed with the Infants and CC III classrooms. The menu was posted. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children in each classroom when appropriate. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today. Eight children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is being administered and was reviewed. Ten injury reports were reviewed as well as the center?s injury prevention plan which was updated 04/15/2019. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 04/04/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 03/19/2019 Last fire inspection: 08/02/2018 Last health inspection: 02/14/2019 Last lockdown drill: 07/10/2018 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants - 7:2 Toddlers ? 8:2 CC I (Twos) - 13:2 CCII (Twos and Threes) - 12:2 CC II (Threes) - 16:2 CC III(Threes and Fours) ? 17:2 A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
