Discussed the renewal application for the license.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. Areas of compliance regarding the Intensive Plan of Correction was verified. Walk thru of classrooms was completed, staff interviews were conducted and both child and staff records were reviewed. The children were observed napping during the inspection. Some children who did not nap had quiet activities and close monitoring of staff. Infants were observed having tummy time and were held while being fed. Staff training, observations and management oversight were reviewed. This inspection began at 1pm and ended at approximately 2:40pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-E Description: Based on observation of the infant room, baby bottles were not dated. Evidence: Three baby bottles located in the refrigerator in the infant room were not dated. Plan of Correction: Staff will date the bottles every morning.
