A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/30/19 from 10:30 am until 12:45 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 21 children were present with five staff. The sample size consisted of five children's records, five staff's records, two diaper ointments, and two sunblock. Children and staff were observed during free play, educational and artistic activities, clean-up, hand washing, bathroom break, diapering, lunch preparation, lunch, nap, transitions and behavioral guidance. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
