Please be sure to conduct your second Shelter in Place Drill and one Lock Down drill before the end of the year (and document them on your drill log).

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from. to 12:40 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. At the time of entrance the following adult to child ratios were observed: Classroom A: 16 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff Classroom B: 18 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff An additional (third) staff person was floating between the two classrooms and assisting, as needed. The records sample size consisted of 5 children?s records. Staff records are housed off site and will be reviewed at a separate inspection. Children were observed resting quietly on cots during nap time, having an afternoon snack consisting of bananas and milk, dancing and moving to music, being read to from children's literature and cloring with crayons. Hand washing, restroom procedures and table sanitizing were also observed. Medication administration was not observed. However, 6 medications stored on site were reviewed with regard to storage, labeling, written authorization and required documentation. Staff report no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical attention since the last inspection. Thank you for your time during today's inspection.
