Technical Assistance:
Allergy plans from a physician is required for all children with diagnosed food allergies- regardless if they have medication at the center or not.

Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today with the director, who was present with 30 children and four staff. The center is up to date with their lock-down drill. Arrival time: 8: 55 am Departure time: 11:20 am

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11
Description: Based on interviews and a review of the allergy list, it was determined that two children have diagnosed food allergies but the center has not obtained the allergy care plan from the children's physicians. Evidence: Child A has an allergy to cool ranch Doritos and child B has an allergy to peanuts and milk and neither have an allergy plan on site.

Plan of Correction: I will get the allergy plans from the parents.
