Discussion on background check results that come back with an "unable to determine" finding. Discussed considering staff for lead teacher positions and the required qualifications for lead teachers.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 79 children with16 staff on site today. All five classrooms were observed. Inspector observed two classes outside on the playground this morning. Staff were strategically placed on the playground to ensure adequate supervision. Positive interaction with staff and children. In the Toddler classes, children were sitting in circles while staff read books to them. A nice transition to hand washing and sitting at the table for lunch was observed. Staff sang songs to the children while their food was being plated. Lunch today was chicken noodle soup, orange slices and breadsticks with milk. Ample amounts for second servings. Father's Day arts and crafts were drying such as cupcake medals and sunflower pasta artwork was on display. In the Preschool classes, children were divided into small groups at the table with one staff at each table working on Father's Day portraits out of construction paper. Father's Day decorated ties were on display on the hallway bulletin board along with what children wanted to do when they grew up projects. Medication was reviewed along with 5 staff records and 8 children's records. This inspection began at approximately 11am and ended at 1:10pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
