Technical Assistance:
The license cannot be modified to reflect the new location until the modification application is complete. The following items are required in order for the application to be deemed complete: fire inspection, building evaluation form completed by the zoning official, current liability insurance updated to reflect the program's new location. The classroom areas must be set up and fully supplied prior to children entering care. The following must take place before children enter care: wrap the tether ball pole on the playground, install a child safety gate to block children's entrance to the kitchen space, remove the current playground structure from the outdoor play area. The structure is too large, not age-appropriate, and considered unsafe for the preschool children to use. It was reported to the Inspector that the community center pool will be drained and covered at all times that the preschool is operating. The back deck may be used only by small groups of children and staff at any given time.

Comments:
The Inspector was on site today to complete an inspection of the program's new facility location. The Inspector completed room measurements, an inspection of the physical plant, and a review of emergency preparedness items. All remaining administrative documents must be brought to the new location prior to children entering care at the start of the new school year. Thank you for meeting with me today. If you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at sandra.dimperio@dss.virginia.gov
