An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. There were 108 children in care being supervised by 14 staff members. The children were observed participating in crafts, swimming, and outdoor play. Lunch served today is tacos, lettuce, tomato, salsa, chips, pineapple, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight staff member records were reviewed and in compliance. Four board member records were reviewed. There are reportedly no medications being administered to children in the facility at this time. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 05/07/2019 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 06/07/2019. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-1-B Description: Based on review of four board member records it was determined that not all agents had documentation of a central registry check on file. Evidence: The records for Agent A, Agent B, and Agent C did not have documentation of a central registry check on file. It was confirmed by administration that these agents have been board members for more than one year. Plan of Correction: Administration has sent central registry checks for Agent A, B, and C and is awaiting results.
