22VAC40-665 STAFF QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on June 21, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements regarding staff records. The licensing inspector reviewed administration, staff qualifications and training, background checks and license and registration procedures. The sample size consisted of four staff records. There were no violations cited during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on this same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-F Description: Based on record review, in one of three staff records reviewed, the vendor did not ensure that all staff have current CPR and First Aid (FA) Training. Evidence: The CPR and FA training for Staff #3 expired on June 20, 2019. Plan of Correction: A class has been scheduled for July 2, 2019.
