A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 2nd, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 74 children present with 14 caregivers. The children were observed singing songs, working on puzzles, playing on the playground and preparing for lunch. Lunch consisted of Macaroni and Cheese, Sweet Peas, Watermelon and Milk. The children were also observed during handwashing and preparing for nap. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
