A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on (insert date) to review supplemental health and safety requirements.An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today during the summer program. There are 80 children present with 18 staff. Staff and children were observed eating snack, washing hands, transitioning to outside, playing outdoors and participating in a wide variety of room activities. First aid supplies emergency supplies, medications, emergency evacuation drills, sunscreen authorizations, sunscreens labeling are all in compliance. Rooms used for summer SACC were measured to have the space calculations added to the file. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
