The facility is currently using bottled water due to well pump issues. Children are using one child sized toilet and have access to two adult toilets. The program director stated that they are working to expedite the approvals and permits necessary for a new well to be drilled as the plumbers and well company have indicated that a deeper well is necessary to serve the needs of the facility. The facility has closed 2 days when bathrooms were not usable and will close if needed.

An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 1:40 PM and departed at 3:10 PM. Twenty-seven children were in care. Nap time and infant care were observed. No children's injuries were reported. Medication administration was reviewed. A sample size of nine staff records and five children's records were reviewed. An exit meeting was conducted with the program director prior to closure of the inspection.
