Technical Assistance:
Inspector provided guidance regarding lead teacher qualifications, staff records, and medication.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-12:15pm. There were 39 children directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 8 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, and doing circle time. Infants were observed playing freely. There was a supply of materials for the children. An area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. Description: Based on observation, the center did not keep hazardous substances such as cleaning materials in a locked place. Evidence: In the orange class, disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer were stored in an unlocked cabinet.

Plan of Correction: During inspection, the cabinets were locked.
