Standard #: 22VAC40-185-470-E
Complaint related: Yes
Description: Based on photographs and staff interviews, children that are toilet trained are using the portable wading pools. Evidence: Staff stated that children ages infant through pre school age children are using portable wading pools. Portable wading pools were observed outside on the playground. The complainant emailed pictures of infants and toddlers sitting in water inside portable wading pools.

Plan of Correction: We appreciate this being brought to our attention. We were not aware of the wading pool standard. We have immediately notified our staff at all locations that the wading pools can not be used for children under 3 years old. We will provide other fun water activities for the summer.
