A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 07/18/2019 from 9:08am to 12:05pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed playing in centers, participating in story time, STEM projects, and playing outside. A formal observation was completed with the lily room (threes) and school age classrooms. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children in each classroom when appropriate. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today. Eight children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is not being administered. The center?s injury prevention plan was updated 06/2019. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 07/02/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 06/04/2019 Last fire inspection: 09/6/2018 Last health inspection: 06/18/2019 Last lockdown drill: 02/05/2019 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Twos - 10:2 Threes - 7:1 Threes - 10:1 Fours - 10:2 Fives ? 10:1 Fives - 7:1 School Age - 15:1 School Age - 13:1 A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
