A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 9:30 am to 12:30pmto review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. The children were observed picking vegetables from the garden, reading books, painting, hand washing and eating snack. A licensing inspection was conducted on t as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
