An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 8:30 am-10:30. There were a total of 43 children with 7 staff members present. Children were observed arriving to the program, eating snack outside, engaged in group activities beading and outdoor play time. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G Description: Based on observation and staff interview, when food is brought from home the containers are not dated. Evidence: Lunch boxes were observed with children's name but not dated. Plan of Correction: Management will provide a dry erase tag to be attached to each child's lunch box. Staff will ensure they are all dated.
