A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 22, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were fifteen children in the care of three staff in one classroom. Five children's and three staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for one child. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Areas observed were: snack, hand washing/bathroom procedures, music/dance, outside play, transition, lunch and a short movie. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.
