The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 10:30am to 1:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The infants and toddlers were observed being fed and playing on the floor with a teacher. The preschool and school age children were observed going on a field trip, and eating lunch. All classrooms were inspected today. The facilities transportation and playgrounds were inspected as well. Eight children?s records and eight employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center administers medication, however there wasn't any being administered at this time. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 06/25/2019 Shelter-in-place drills: 06/10/2019 & 04/19/2019 Lockdown drill: 04/19/2018 Total enrollment today: 87 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants- 12:3 Toddlers?8:2 Twos ?13:2 Threes ?9:1 Fours-7:1 Pre-K-12:2 School Age ?21:2 A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
