A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/16/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 54 children in care by 9 staff. The children utilized the gym for free play, group center activities, and participated in classroom discussions. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-B Description: Based on records review, the center did not ensure staff completed the Virginia Pre-service Training for Child Care Staff in the first 90 days of employment. Evidence: Staff #3 began employment on 8/13/2018 and completed approximately half of the training. Plan of Correction: I will followed up staff to ensure this is completed.
