Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 08/22/2019. There were 7 children, ages 3 years-4 years, and 2 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and the on-site staff record requirement for 2 staff during the on-site inspection; the complete staff records were reviewed at the corporate office on 08/22/2019 immediately following the on-site inspection. The staff stated that medication is currently not being administered. Children were observed in the following activities: during free choice/center play, during art time, during story time, in large motor play outside and having lunch. Proper hand washing and table sanitization was also observed during the inspection. The inspector reviewed the emergency preparedness plan and emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed playground requirements and children's records with the staff. The inspector reminded the staff of the upcoming expiration of the annual health inspection. The inspector arrived for the on-site inspection at 10:00 a.m. and departed at 12:15 p.m. and arrived for the record review inspection at 12: 40 p.m. and departed at 1:20 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
