An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today from 9:30 am- 10:50 am. There were 3 children ( 10 points) directly supervised by the vendor. Vendor/ household member/ child information was reviewed. Vendor trainings, emergency preparedness planning, drills and supplies were also inspected. The children were observed napping, doing tummy time, practicing to balance and learning colors. Hand washing and diaper changing routines as well as cleaning and sanitizing of food service areas were also discussed. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based upon records reviewed, the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of EVERY child in care as it occurs Evidence: The vendor was caring for her grandaughter today and did not document her arrival into care on attendance sheet. Plan of Correction: I will write now.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-190-A Description: Based upon records reviewed, vendor did not have required Tuberculosis screen/ repeat documentation at the time of inspection. Evidence: Vendor's last TB screen on file was 3/28/17- 2019. Plan of Correction: I will look for and send a copy to you.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-B Description: Based upon information reviewed, required monthly practice evacuation drill was not documented. Evidence: There was no monthly drill documented for 4/ 2019. Plan of Correction: I will write down each month.
