The licensing inspectors conducted an unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection Wednesday August 21, 2019 from 10:24am to 2:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed playing outside on the playground, taking a cooking class and playing in the sprinklers for splash day. The infants were observed getting changed from splash day, being fed and playing on the floor. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today as well as the facility?s mini buses. Five children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center administers medication; however they did not have any being given at this time. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 7/16/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 04/05/2019 Last lockdown drill: 06/12/2019 Last fire inspection: 7/18/2018 Last health inspection: 4/12/2019 Total enrollment today: 55 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants ?7:2 Toddlers ?8:2 Twos ? 12:2 Preschool & Pre-K ?10:1 School Age ?18:2 A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
