Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on DSS model forms for medication, supervision on the playground areas and training requirements for staff.

Comments:
An announced initial study was conducted today from 9:45-12:00. Five classrooms that will be used by children were measured and reviewed for equipment and safety. Background checks for board members were reviewed. Training requirements for first aid/CPR, MAT and Daily Health Observation training as well as maps, first aid supplies and non-emergency supplies. Bathrooms were supplied with required paper towels and toilet paper. The hot water was measured at 115 degrees. Children will start 9/3 and bring their lunch/snack from home. The program is nut free. Curriculum is nature based with supporting gardens, equipment areas such as the "mud kitchen" and has been certified a Master Naturalist of Virginia space.
