Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding the renewal application and process.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-12:30pm. There were 145 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 40 direct care staff. The physical plant, 10 staff records, 10 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, programming, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, singing, and painting. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection.Positive interaction was observed between children and staff. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Description: Based on observation, cleaning materials and insecticides/pesticides are not being stored in areas physically separate from each other.
Evidence
Cleaning materials and insecticides/pesticides were located on the same top shelf in the hallway.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection, insecticides/pesticides are usually stored in the outside shed, we will ensure they are stored there after each use.
