An announced initial inspection was conducted with the director and owners beginning at 12:28 PM and ending at 3:40 PM. Five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no children in care during the inspection. The classrooms were observed and measured for capacity. The center is well-equipped with age and stage appropriate furnishings, equipment, and materials. The cribs met Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) federal safety standards for cribs. The center's policies and procedures, emergency preparedness plan, and playground safety procedures were reviewed. Three outdoor play areas and one bus were inspected. A qualified director with current certification in first aid, CPR, daily health observation, and Medication Administration Training (MAT) is in place. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The certificate of occupancy was reviewed. The fire inspection was dated 07/19/2019.
