- Technical Assistance:
A discussion was held on the overall cleanliness of the facility. There are areas that need a good cleaning or repainting, an example is the air vent in the Pre K 2 classroom is covered with a layer of thick dust, and chipped and peeling paint was observed throughout the center.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-1:30pm. There were 106 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 14 direct care staff. The physical plant, 7 staff records, 5 children?s records,3 medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, programming, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, story time, singing, and eating lunch. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection.
