Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from. to 11:30 am to 12:10 pm. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 14 preschool aged children in care with 2 staff members. Children were observed participating in indoor play, educational activities, transitioning between activities, and hand washing. A sample of 5 children's records and 2 on-site staff records were reviewed. Medication and injury reports were also reviewed. Areas of noncompliance are identified on the violation notice and were discussed with the director in an exit meeting at the conclusion of this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A
Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined the center could not provide the licensing representative with an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction. Evidence: 1. The fire inspection available at this inspection was dated 3/15/18. 2. Director confirmed that the fire inspection dated 3/15/18 was the most recent inspection.

Plan of Correction: The Director is in the process of scheduling a fire inspection.
