A complaint investigation was initiated on September 19, 2019 regarding a child was not fed according to parental instructions. Interviews were conducted, and documentation was reviewed and the complaint was deemed valid. The complaint related violation is identified on the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-D Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on interview with staff, infants were not being fed in accordance with parental instructions
Evidence:
Child#1 (11 months) was given one of three bottles provided by the parent while at the facility.Plan of Correction: Child#1 was given 1 bottle as well as received school food throughout the day. Staff changes were made immediately the next day, and additional policies and procedures have been added to ensure Infants are fed according to parental instructions.
