Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was offered regarding staff qualifications.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:35 am to 12:55 pm. There were 76 children with 20 staff present. The children were observed playing outdoors including outdoor fitness programs. Children were also observed using sensory tables with rice and sand. Transitions from classrooms to the playground were observed to be organized and name to face counts were conducted. Medications and emergency drill records were reviewed. 5 children's records and 8 staff records were reviewed. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violation notice. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-I
Description: Based on staff interview, the center did not maintain one day's supply of emergency formula with bottles and nipples, for infants in care.
Evidence: Staff # 1 stated that the center did not have an emergency supply of infant formula, bottles and nipples on site.

Plan of Correction: An email will be sent out to families today to bring in the necessary items.
