A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 6:55am to 8:10am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 22 children were present with 4 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: table top activities and playing in a group kick ball game. The physical plant, programming, menu, emergency procedures, 7 medications, allergy care plans, and 5 children's records and 4 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
