Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) Inspection was conducted on September 24, 2019 from approximately 7:40 a.m. until 12:30 pm. Upon entrance there were 22 children and 4 staff present with children. The sample size of records reviewed consisted of 5 children's records, 3 staff records and the background checks for the owner. The center is not administering medications. Children were observed during their morning routine to include eating breakfast and freely playing.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover the Subsidy Health and Safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The results of the inspection were reviewed and verified with the Center Director during the exit interview. Areas of noncompliance are noted on the violation notice. If you have any questions, contact your licensing inspector at (757) 404-0568.
