63.2 Facilities & Programs.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 2:45pm -4:45pm. There were 77 children directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 9 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff files were reviewed on an earlier date through the County of Loudoun, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services main office. Children were observed participating in group play, playing board games, doing crafts, working on their homework, taking bathroom breaks and eating snack. Today's snack consisted of Baked Cheddar Goldfish Colors and apple juice. Hand washing procedures were observed. The cafeteria was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and adequately supplied with equipment and supplies. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G Description: Based on review of medications and authorization forms, the program did not obtain a written authorization form for a long term medication found on-site.
The written medication authorization form, for a long term medication found on-site for child#1, were completed on a Loudoun County Public School medication authorization form, this form does not authorize the CASA program staff to administer the medication.
Plan of Correction: We have already talked to the parent, and we have requested a new authorization form.
