Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:15am-12:45pm. There were 32 children (2 1/2 yrs. - 5 yrs.) directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed counting, sorting, painting, playing with blocks and play-doh, participating in centers, and eating snack. Today's snack consisted of yogurt and fruit snacks. Bathroom breaks and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. There were no violations observed during today's inspection.
