Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 children's files, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 2:45-3:40. There were 36 children under the supervision of 2 staff. During the inspection, children were observed listening to the Site Supervisor review the activities planned for the day, going outside to play on the playground, cleaning up for and eating afternoon snack and enjoying free play. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served cinnamon rolls with milk for snack. The Site Supervisor is certified in MAT (medication administration training). Staff files are not reviewed on site, but during an annual administrative file review.
