Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted October 1, 2019. The on-site inspection was held from 11:25 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. At the time of arrival, there were 57 children, between the ages of three months and two years, in eight classrooms and in the care of 16 staff. There were two extra staff members available to assist, if needed. There were a total of 64 children enrolled in the program. Six children's records, eight staff members' records, and one application applicant's record were reviewed. Eight staff members were interviewed. Eight classrooms were toured and three classrooms were observed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for two children. There were no violations of the licensing standards. The themes were Fall and Changes All-Around. Some of the items reviewed and observed included: diaper ointments and the parent authorizations, required posted information, current health and fire inspections, updated emergency preparedness and injury prevention plans, evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, first aid kit and emergency supplies, warm water temperature, choice time, story time, outdoor play, infant feeding, diapering procedures, hand washing procedures, and nap time.
