- Technical Assistance:
Discussed rest time with children who stay for extended day (over 5 hours) and having a designated rest period.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today from 12:00-1:30. Forty six children were present with 13 staff and in ratios for supervision. Observed children playing in the toddler area outside, transitioning into the classroom, hand washing/diapering and lunch time. Lunches are bought from home. Emergency drills and trainings for staff are up to date. Three emergency medications are on-site with completed written authorizations and multiple staff having Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification. Staff #1 and Staff #2 were hired 8/2019 and are missing documentation of a completed TB screening.
