Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Child Day Center (CDC). All staff files reviewed have either obtained the 10 hours of Virginia of Preservice training or are still within 90 days of their date of hire (Staff #2 and Staff #7). Lockdown drill has been completed. Last allergy list update was conducted at the beginning of October.
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted at the Kiddie Academy located in Leesburg, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 10/04/2019, between the hours of 8:30 am through 1:30 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that were not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
