An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the Director beginning at 12:00pm and ending at 2:30pm. There were 66 children in care (ages five-months to five-years-old) supervised by 16 staff. Children were observed eating lunch, in free play with teachers, preparing for nap, and napping. Five staff files and six children's files were reviewed and in compliance. Eleven medications for eight children were reviewed. Evidence: Child 1 (16-months-old) has Tylenol brand Infant Pain Reliever on site with parent authorization for a dosage of 3.75mL. The manufacturer's instructions for dosage state: Under 24 lbs. or two years of age, consult a doctor.
