A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10.04.19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Upon arrival there were 29 children in care with 5 staff present. A sample of 3 children and 2 staff records were reviewed. The owner reported there were no medications at the time of inspection and no children with diagnosed food allergies. Children were observed sleep on mats during nap.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
