Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10.07.19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
Licensing Inspector conducted a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection between 8:00am and 11:00am. At the time of the tour there were 29 children in care with 8 staff present. A sample of 3 children and 2 staff records were reviewed. The director confirmed there were no children with diagnosed food allergies at the time of inspection. Children were observed during circle time, being read a story and during diapering. Infants were observed sleeping in cribs and on the floor with staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.

Description: Based on a record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure the emergency plan had all required procedures.
Evidence:
The center's emergency preparedness plan did not include a continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. The Program Director confirmed the center's plan did not contain this procedure.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the program director during the exit interview.
Evidence:
The Director will begin working on this procedure to incorporate into their current emergency plan.
