An unannounced licensing inspection was completed today.
Fifteen children were present with three teachers.
The children were working in centers, singing in group time and eating lunch.
Five children's files, and three staff files, were reviewed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on a review of the playground, the facility failed to ensure that all areas are in safe and operable condition.
Evidence:
1. On the climber with the red double slide, where the slide meets the metal deck there is are four of five bolts missing.Plan of Correction: A maintenance request was submitted to replace the bolts on the slide. The children will not use the slide until it is repaired.
