Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, October 3, 2019. The on-site inspection was conducted 10:25 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On this date, there were 13 children in the care of two staff members in one classroom. There were a total of 13 children enrolled in the preschool program. Staff records were reviewed on September 16, 2019 at the MACAA Administration Office. There were five children's records reviewed. There were no violations of the licensing standards found. There were two staff members and four children interviewed. No medications were on-site or being administered at the time of the inspection. The theme for the week was Balls. Some items observed and reviewed during the inspection included: lunch, transition from lunch, hand washing and bathroom procedures, outdoor play, transitions, circle time, centers, finger plays, story time, nap time, required posted information, first aid kit and emergency supplies, injury reports, and documentation of evacuation and shelter-in-place drills.
