An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today from 10:20 am- 11:40 am. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. All children in care are school age and attend before and after their regular school hours. The vendor's information, household member information, child information was reviewed. Required emergency preparedness planning, drills and supplies were also reviewed. The vendors cpr training as well as annual training requirements were in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-180-4 Description: Based upon information reviewed, required first aid certification was not available. Evidence: Vendor's first aid certification states that it expired 3/2019. Plan of Correction: I took first aid in March and I will fax as soon as I find it.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-210-B Description: Based upon information reviewed, child in care did not have documentation of updated immunizations. Evidence: Child A ( DOB 1/25/2016) last immunization on record was 3/2017 ( age 16 months). Immunization record at 18 months was not available. Plan of Correction: I will ask mom for a copy. She needed it for child's school.
